Your Right to Delete: You have the right to delete your Mooi Café account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to do so.
How to Delete Your Account

Open the Mooi Café app on your device

Go to Profile by tapping the profile icon in the bottom navigation

Scroll to the bottom of the profile page

Tap the "Delete Account" button (outlined in red)

Confirm deletion in the alert dialog
Alternative: Request Deletion via Email
If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion manually, you can email us:
- Send an email to support@mooi.cafe
- Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your account
- We will process your request within 7 business days
Request Account Deletion
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Profile Information: Name, email, phone number, profile photo
- Account Credentials: Authentication data
- Loyalty Data: Points balance, rewards history
- Preferences: Notification settings, language preferences
- Reviews: Any reviews or feedback you've submitted
⚠️ Important: Deleting your account will permanently remove all your accumulated loyalty points and rewards. This action cannot be undone.
Data Retention After Deletion
Some data may be retained after account deletion:
- Transaction Records: Anonymized records may be kept for business analytics
- Legal Requirements: Data required by law may be kept for the legally mandated period
- Backup Systems: Data in encrypted backups will be permanently deleted within 30 days
Processing Time
- In-app deletion: Immediate
- Email request: Up to 7 business days
- Complete removal from backups: Up to 30 days
