            Your Right to Delete: You have the right to delete your Baladiye account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to do so.
        

How to Delete Your Account

Open the Baladiye app on your device
Go to Profile by tapping the profile icon in the bottom navigation
Tap "Edit Profile" to access your profile settings
Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account"
Confirm deletion when prompted. You may need to re-enter your password.

Alternative: Request Deletion via Email

If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion manually, you can email us:

Send an email to support@baladiye.app
Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
Include the email address associated with your account
We will process your request within 7 business days

Request Account Deletion

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

Profile Information: Name, phone number, address, ID numbers
Account Credentials: Email and authentication data
Uploaded Documents: Photos, files, and attachments
Preferences: Notification settings, language preferences
Form Drafts: Any saved but unsubmitted forms

⚠️ Important: Submitted municipal forms and their history may be retained for legal and administrative purposes, as required by Lebanese municipal regulations. This data will be anonymized where possible.

Data Retention After Deletion

Some data may be retained after account deletion:

Submitted Forms: Municipal submissions are official records and may be retained in anonymized form
Legal Requirements: Data required by law may be kept for the legally mandated period
Backup Systems: Data in encrypted backups will be permanently deleted within 30 days

Processing Time

In-app deletion: Immediate
Email request: Up to 7 business days
Complete removal from backups: Up to 30 days
